Privacy Policy

Waikiki Bears Den (“we”, “us”) is a Chicago Bears fan club in Honolulu, operated by BAMCIS LLC, a Hawaii limited liability company. This policy explains what information we collect through waikikibearsden.com and our jersey orders, and what we do with it.

Information you give us

• Orders. When you buy a jersey we receive your name, email address, phone number, the size and quantity you ordered, and, if you choose shipping, your shipping address.
• Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card or wallet details go directly to Stripe and are never sent to or stored by us. See Stripe's privacy policy.
• Email. If you email us, we keep the message and your address so we can reply.

Information collected automatically

• Analytics and advertising. We use Google Analytics and Google Ads tags and the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel to understand how visitors use the site and to measure our ads. These services may set cookies and collect information such as pages viewed, device and browser type, and approximate location.
• Site monitoring. We use Amazon CloudWatch RUM to measure page performance and catch errors. It records technical data such as page load times and error messages and may set a cookie.

You can limit this tracking with your browser's cookie settings, Google's opt-out add-on, and your Meta ad preferences.

How we use it

• To fill your order: hand over or ship your jersey, and contact you about it.
• To handle refunds, exchanges and questions.
• To keep the business and tax records the law requires.
• To run and improve the site and our watch-party promotion.

We do not sell your personal information, and we don't send marketing email from your order details.

Who we share it with

• Stripe, to process payments.
• Printful, our printer, which receives your name and shipping address for shipped orders.
• Amazon Web Services, which hosts this site and our order records.
• Google and Meta, as described above for analytics and advertising.
• Authorities, if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as needed for the order and for tax and accounting purposes, generally up to seven years. You can ask us to delete information we don't need to keep.

Your choices

To see, correct or delete your information, email chris@waikikibearsden.com. The site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
